- Open a Finder window. Select "Go" and then "Connect to Server". The shortcut when you're in a Finder window is ⌘K.
- Enter in the following address to connect to a transcriptions folder:
smb://loki/transcriptions/(your folder name here)
If you're a transcriptionist, your folder is probably named "1firstname".
If you're a KLAS employee, ask the Data Team for your exact transcription folder name.
- You can add a server address to your favorites to quickly connect again later.

Open Finder Preferences.

Choose the option to show connected servers on the desktop.

Now, while you're connected to the VPN and connected to the transcriptions server, you'll see your transcriptions drive on your desktop.
