Voicemail
Your default voicemail password is listed here. Once you set up your voicemail, your voicemail PIN will be changed to whatever you specify. Please remember your voicemail PIN.
You can set up your voicemail by dialing *86 from your phone or select VMail.
If you've taken over an extension from a previous employee, it's possible your voicemail password hasn't been reset.
Minimizing MXIE
-
When you close the MXIE program, it minimizes into your System Tray (the icons at the bottom right of your screen).
These icons at the bottom right of your screen are in your System Tray. The green orb is represents MXIE (this icon may change depending on your MXIE Presence or "away status").
-
If you try reopening MXIE the normal way, you may get an error like this:
-
If you’ve closed MXIE, it’s probably minimized into your System Tray. Right click the MXIE icon and select Open. Or you can double (left) click on the icon.
Note: You can quickly set your “Presence” by right clicking the MXIE icon and selecting a status.
Handling Calls
-
When you make a call from your phone, or from your Zultys smartphone app, your call will appear in MXIE.
You have various options for this call. You can perform these actions on your hardphone or here in this program.
You can Record, Transfer, Park, Hold.
You can also hang up the call by pressing the "x".
You'll see the record button turn red after you click the record icon. You have 600 minutes (10 hours) of space to record. After you've used up all of that space, you cannot record calls. Please export your recorded calls from MXIE frequently to avoid being unable to record new calls.

Here's the default MXIE view! You're free to customize this window in various ways.
For example, you can click the 'X' next to parked calls, if you want, since it's a function you probably won't use much.
Or you can move the window into the tabs below. At any time, you can switch back to the default MXIE view, by first accessing the settings menu.
Select the Application settings option. Then Restore default layout, confirm the changes and select OK.
Buddies
-
Open your Buddies display into a separate mini window to keep open in a corner of your screen.
If you don’t like what you just did, then you can drag the window back into the main MXIE program.
This also works with other windows in the program.
-
To create buddy groups, right click in the buddy frame and select Create a group.
Presence (away status)
-
Keep your “Presence” updated throughout the day. This will help your neighbors find you.
Call Handling Rules
-
When you’re “At Lunch” or “Busy”, you can automatically forward your calls to someone else. Click on Options:
Choose “Call Handling” and create a new rule.
Set up your rules for your scenario.
