Adding specific filters to a search in Outlook is very easy once you know how to do it! This way, you can locate emails from provider or vendors quickly before a call.

  • Click in the search bar to open the search filter menu.


  • You can select which folder you'd like to search, such as Current Folder or All Mailboxes.


  • You can add additional filters to your search.


  • Or you can search with a filter, and enter in a phrase to search the entire email (subject and body).


  • Try out some of the other filters on the menu to narrow down your search.



  • If you have archiving set up, Outlook will also search your archived folders.
