The reporting team uses KLAS fonts that aren't default font on Windows. These fonts currently are:

  • Montserrat
  • Oxygen
  • Arvo

What happens if I don't have the KLAS fonts installed?

If you don’t have the reporting team's fonts installed, you will likely see minor formatting flaws in the reports (e.g. charts on the ensuing page or text hidden behind charts). This is caused by the unique spacing of these fonts that the reporting team sees as they organize charts and text in a Word Doc (if you edit reports, this can be a big deal). You may see a report’s font in Word labeled Montserrat as you edit a report, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have the font installed. Unsure what fonts you have? See your full font list in Control Panel > Fonts.

How to install the fonts

  1. Download the fonts from our KLAS Style Guide.
In this walk-through, I'm installing a font called Lato. However, you may want to install the current KLAS fonts listed above. The instructions are the same with installing any font.

  2. Extract the zipped file.

    Part B

  3. Select all the font files, right click and choose "Install".

  4. Done! Want to see what they look like? Open up a blank Word Document and try it out!
